Greyland Maximum Eco Biotech BT8 Drain Solution is a biotechnology-based treatment designed to keep domestic and commercial drains running smoothly and smelling fresh. This fragranced liquid contains application-specific bacteria cultivated to break down organic waste, fats and residues within drainage systems. By digesting the build-up that causes bad smells and restricted flow, BT8 rapidly improves flow rates and helps prevent recurring odours and blockages.

Ideal for small-bore pipes and outlets from sinks, baths, showers and kitchen units, BT8 is suitable for all types of drains, as well as septic tanks and sewage treatment systems. Used regularly as part of a drain maintenance programme, it keeps outlets trouble-free and odourless, reducing the need for harsh chemical unblockers and expensive call-outs.

Application is straightforward: simply remove any excess standing water, pour BT8 directly into the plug hole or drain outlet, activate with warm (not hot) water, leave to work, then flush through. All Greyland products feature peelable, recyclable, chemical-resistant labels that remain clear in use, and the robust containers are manufactured using 51% recycled polymers, supporting a more sustainable approach to professional cleaning and maintenance.

Instructions for Use

• Preparation: Remove any excess standing water from the sink or outlet if possible.
• Dosing: Pour 50 ml of BT8 Drain Solution directly into the sink plug hole or drain outlet.
• Activation: Add approximately one cupful of warm (not hot) water to activate the treatment.
• Contact time: Leave for a minimum of 30 minutes, or overnight if possible, to allow the bacteria to break down waste.
• Flush: Flush through with hot water to remove loosened residue.
• Regular maintenance: For trouble-free, odourless outlets, pour 50 ml into each opening at least once a week. Repeat treatment if necessary for persistent issues.

• Wear suitable protective gloves when handling the product, particularly during regular or prolonged use.
• Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. If eye contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
