The HDS551C has a a number of advantages over the the 501C. It has a more powerful 120 bar pressure, a higher flow rate of 530 litres an hour and a brass cylinder head for extended working life. An excellent machine suitable for a range of light industrial applications where the need for full steam output is not required.

Product Description The main benefits of this compact hot water high-pressure cleaner are its low weight, compact dimensions and the ease with which it can be loaded and transported. Thanks to its compact size the unit takes up a minimum of storage space when it is not in use. Big wheels and a castor as well as ergonomically shaped push/pull handles ensure excellent manoeuvrability and mobility, even on difficult surfaces.

The three-piston high-pressure pump has hardened stainless-steel pistons and a brass cylinder head. A pressure switch shuts down the unit automatically when the trigger gun is closed to avoid the problems of running in the closed circuit mode.

High-pressure pump, burner fan and heating oil pump are driven by an electric motor and are combined to form a drive module. This principle not only ensures a very compact assembly and a high power output, it also makes the unit exceptionally reliable.

The characteristics of the time-proven Kärcher boiler design are high performance in a minimum of space while ensuring full compliance with the statutory emission limits.

A deep-drawn chassis and a hinged plastic machine cover make the unit weather-proof and protect it from impact damage.
