The HDS551C has a a number of advantages over the the 501C. It has a more powerful 120 bar pressure, a higher flow rate of 530 litres an hour and a brass cylinder head for extended working life. An excellent machine suitable for a range of light industrial applications where the need for full steam output is not required. Technical data: Water- flowrate 550 (l/h) Pump pressure 120 (bar) Max. temp., feed 12°C 80 (°C) Consumpt. light fuel oil 2.7 (kg/h) Connected load 2.3 (kW) Tank capacity fuel 16 (l) Tank capacity detergent 8 (l) Weight 84 (kg) Dimensions LxWxH 940 x 600 x 740 (mm) 12 month commercial on-site warranty Standard accessories: 8 m high-pressure hose 450 mm long trigger gun 550 mm lance Kärcher 25° Power nozzle Product Description The main benefits of this compact hot water high-pressure cleaner are its low weight, compact dimensions and the ease with which it can be loaded and transported. Thanks to its compact size the unit takes up a minimum of storage space when it is not in use. Big wheels and a castor as well as ergonomically shaped push/pull handles ensure excellent manoeuvrability and mobility, even on difficult surfaces. The three-piston high-pressure pump has hardened stainless-steel pistons and a brass cylinder head. A pressure switch shuts down the unit automatically when the trigger gun is closed to avoid the problems of running in the closed circuit mode. High-pressure pump, burner fan and heating oil pump are driven by an electric motor and are combined to form a drive module. This principle not only ensures a very compact assembly and a high power output, it also makes the unit exceptionally reliable. The characteristics of the time-proven Kärcher boiler design are high performance in a minimum of space while ensuring full compliance with the statutory emission limits. A deep-drawn chassis and a hinged plastic machine cover make the unit weather-proof and protect it from impact damage. Technical Description: -Single-phase unit with air-cooled two-pole electric motor. -Three-piston axial pump with stainless-steel pistons. -Chemical can be added in the low pressure mode. Applications Cleaning vehicles and workshop in small industrial businesses. For painters who occasionally do facade cleaning. General cleaning tasks in small industrial businesses.
