The Insect-a-Clear GLU-60 is an ideal alternative to conventional high voltage insect control machines. The concept is widely accepted by environmental health officers and hygiene managers, and in certain circumstances, preferred. The flying insects are attracted to the Glu-60 by two 15w tubes which emit a UV light source that is invisible to the human eye but irresistible to flying insects. Once attracted into the Glu-60 they will come to rest on a special adhesive coated glue board and become permanently captured. Once the board is full it can be quickly and easily replaced. The Glu-60 design ensures that unsightly captured insects cannot be seen from ground level but, when the glue board is removed by pest control operators or hygiene managers, the catch can be easily monitored.

The Glu-60 incorporates some impressive features that are listed below:
