The Protect-a-lite 2000 has been designed for areas that require the discreet elimination of flying insects. It is therefore ideal for restaurant eating areas, hallways, reception areas, lounges etc. - in fact anywhere where unwanted flying insects cause a nuisance and conventional fly killers would be unacceptable. Visually the Protect-a-lite looks like a normal light fitting but, with its high performance 15 watt UV attractant tube and special adhesive board mounted inside the shade, it becomes a very efficient form of insect control. The insects once captured, remain out of sight. The steel shade can be finished in a variety of finishes to suit almost any decor and is easily removed, without the use of tools, to facilitate board renewal.
