The Insect-a-Clear 'Professional' range is probably the most reliable group of electronic fly control units on the market today. Designed for the professional Pest Control industry, these machines are easy and quick to service whilst maintaining the high build quality for which the manufacturer is renowned. This model has been specifically designed to help industrial kitchens and food factories meet the stringent regulations of the Food Act and is one of the largest electronic fly killers available with a very impressive build specification. These units have Sylvania's 'Quantum' tubes fitted as standard. Sylvania are the leading manufacturer of Ultra Violet tubes and have re-engineered the spectral power distribution of the phosphor used inside 'Quantum' tubes whci gives them a sharper peak at 365 nanometres (the optimum level for flying insect eye sensitivity)- double that of a standard 350BL tube. This new technology preserves its output at 70% over 5000 hours and will maintain its attractiveness to more insects at the end of the season. In short, 'Quantum' tubes are 100% more effective and 40% more powerful than standard tubes!

The high I.P. rating of '05'(which is superior to machines claiming to be 'rainproof' or 'splash proof') allows this model to be installed in damp areas and, after disconnection from the mains electricity supply, to be safely washed or hosed down.
