Insect-a-clear are one of Europe's largest insect control specialists, manufacturing both electric grid and glue board fly killers.

Historically, electric grid machines have been used throughout the food industry to control flying insect infestations.

However, there are occasions where the latest glue board technology, as used in the Fly-Shield range, is clearly more suitable. Advantages of this entrapment system include no annoying 'zap', attraction and containment of all sizes of flying insects and debris from exploding flies is totally eliminated.

The flying insects are attracted by the energy saving tubes which emit a UV light source that is invisible to the human eye but irresistible to flying insects. Once attracted into the rear of the unit they come to rest on a special adhesive coated glue board and become permanently captured. The Fly-shield design ensures that unsightly captured insects cannot be seen and once the board is full it can be quickly and easily replaced.

Manufactured in high quality stainless steel, the range is particularly suited to front of house areas, restaurants, coffee shops, sandwich bars and smaller food preparation areas.
